Welcome to the Ship Inn at Par
Dating back to the early 18th century, The Ship Inn is a splendid old building that lies close to the sandy beaches of St Austell Bay.
Owned and personally run by local publican, Chris Giles, this large establishment has plenty to offer both locals and visitors alike.
From the inviting bar visitors can enjoy an ever changing variety of quality ales (we are pleased to be in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide), with many beers from local breweries, as well as draught lagers, cider and spirits.
There is also a range of tasty bar snacks, and our Carvery is now being served every evening for only
£5.50.
Other meals and specials are also served at both lunchtime and in the evening.
A well known and popular place for a celebration meal,
the menus here are sure to excite even the most jaded palate.
We welcome well behaved dogs on leads throughout the pub and with Par Sands beach a very short walk away you both will have a great time.
A lovely wooden cabin, sleeping 6,is available throughout the summer season.
Please ring us (or use the contact form) for details of pricing and availabillity.
Camping is also available in the the Pub grounds
ideal for those walking the South West Coastal Path
Outside too there is much for the Inn’s customers: to the side and rear are well maintained gardens where there is a huge bandstand, and a safe play area for children.
